A Sunday Sermon

Thou shalt not kill.  This is the 5th or 6th commandment depending upon your particular religious orientation.  I have often wondered if the good lord was just yanking our chain with this one.  Why send down a commandment to not kill and then send down so many people that need just that?

Patience is a virtue and vengeance is mine saith the Lord (Romans 12:19), but still....He has an entire universe to take care of.  Why won't he allow us to dispatch those that need dispatching and save him some time and bother?

Just something to ponder.

  1. Haha. That was a riot! Indeed, some people just plain old need killing. And it would be such a public service!
And there would be so much more peace in the world. Yes I am pondering big time....
PS. Just wondering....is there a point in which you are done? What I mean is does Scarlett actually have to say, "GET OUT" or I don't want you or the like? Or if it is intolerable and she's not going to budge, can you say, 30 days of hell equals a GET OUT? I said that badly, but do you get the jist?

    1. Yea yea, I just realized it was a Chance, rather than a Community Chest, card in Monopoly.

  3. Lets see, me thinks you need a light house to shine forth through the fog. :)

Patience and contemplation may be the key rather than vengeance. Karma shall take care of Scarlett. "Ye reap what Ye sow" says the good book. And Scarlett's garden is growing with leaps and bounds. The Poison Ivy is flourishing, and the Hemlock is in bloom.

Oh and the light house is under construction now. No date as to completion is set yet. :D

    1. I like your thought on patience and contemplation vs. vengeance. Not really much point in getting out of this just to spend the next 99 to life at hard labor! Poison Ivy and Hemlock - growing like weeds...
